CONGRATULATIONS JEREMY!
I am so incredibly proud of my husband today. As you can see he got the results back from his test and he passed. He studied so hard and it definitely paid off. I know he appreciates every ones encouragement during his studying and test taking. Thank you so much! We also would appreciate continued prayers for the tests to come over the next two years.
 
Now on to level 2....

Stringer Beach Vacay...

Now it is about half way through July so let me catch us up on the first few weeks of the month. Jeremy and I took off work a couple of days at the beginning of the month to spend some time with his family in Gulf Shores. We all had a great time together regardless of the tarballs on the beach.

Although Abby wasn't so sure about all the sand at first, she eventually really enjoyed playing on the beach and looking for shells. Laura and I enjoyed playing in the waves one day and she actually found a live sand dollar. The house we were staying at had a small dipping pool as well as the ones around us. We discovered that there were crabs in all of the pools that were stuck and could not get out. Jeremy took it upon himself to rescue not only the one in our pool but the other three pools too. Well he did good with the big crabs because he could just scoop them up with Abby's bucket and did not actually have to touch them. The last pool had a very small crab in it and so Mr. James and Breck came to save the day. (Let me tell you all of this was a sight to see. We were laughing so hard about all of this chaos!) Anyway Breck pick up the crab and threw it out on the beach. It was a bit of a terrifying moment for me because the direction he threw the crab is where I was standing taking pictures of all the excitement. Luckily it went over my head! All the crabs that were stil alive are now free on the beach!

We really had a good time together as you can tell. I wish I had taken more pictures and gotten a group picture. I'll try to remember that next time we are all together. Thank you so much Mr. James and Mrs. Martha for a great beach vacation! We enjoyed every minute from watching the World Cup, to laying on the beach, to eating some delicious food, and much more. 

 

Jeremy's family headed home on Saturday afternoon but he and I stayed in Gulf Shores for the holiday weekend to extend our vacations some since we has Monday off anyway. We enjoyed some shopping and more sun! On the 4th, we went kayaking on the Bon Secour River. We had alot of fun exploring the river and jumping off the rope swing at the swimming hole. I really wish I had pictures of all of this but I was too scared I would drop the camera in the water. Oh and let me tell you kayaking is no joke even on a river with no rapids, our shoulders were hurting for a few days after. It was worth it though!

After being on the river for most of the day we went to eat at Tacky Jacks that night in Orange Beach. The food was really good and we enjoyed watching some fireworks while eating. All in all our beach vacation was alot of fun! We hope all of you are enjoying your summer too!

Wow..Is it really July already?

Well as usual, I have not been keeping up with blog posting like I should.

So lets rewind and recap the last few weeks of June.

The weekend of June 19th, Jeremy and I were in Jackson for our sweet friends Amanda and Booth's wedding. I arrived in Jackson on Friday for the bridesmaid brunch which was delicious! The necklace and photo canvas she gave us are so pretty. Then I spent the day hanging out with Melanie which was alot of fun! I missing being able to just hang out and talk with my friends, it seems like everytime I'm in town we are all so busy with all that is going on that we don't get to just kick sit around and talk. I really enjoyed that QT time with Mel! Then it was off to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We had alot of fun, it was great to spend time with everyone and laugh at the funny stories told on Booth and Amanda!

Jeremy and I stopped by Sportsmans Lodge after the dinner to see a few of his friends from high school. It was Matt's birthday! They had a good time talking about life and old soccer memories.

Saturday was Amanda and Booth's BIG DAY! Everything was beautiful and the whole day went perfectly. Although it poured raining on the way to the reception the rainbow that followed was pretty and made for a special little something extra to remember about their special day! Amanda was a gorgeous bride in her dress that she had picked out while looking at dresses with me before she was even engaged. ha! It was the perfect dress for her and she shined in it! I was honored to stand beside her to celebrate this special day. 

 It was great to see so many friends that I hadn't seen in a while. Of course it was lots of fun to be with all my girl friends again! We took lots of pictures but I only included some of my favorites. Jeremy enjoyed hanging out with Milam and Dustin at the reception but they were missing their fourth comrade Boston. Hopefully we will get to see him one of these days. I also got to enjoy some time with my mom, Leah, and Hayden on Saturday. Hayden and I really enjoyed dancing at the reception! Watch out Leah and Tommy this girl is going to be tearing up the dance for in clubs one day! haha! She was so cute, I can't wait to see them all in August for her 3rd birthday. It was a great weekend which ended with Father's day on Sunday and we were able to have lunch with his dad and brother before heading back to Meridian.

Ok so I have alot of favorites I guess!

Last few weekends and Happy Father's Day!

Today is Father's day! I really wish I could have spent it with my daddy but I did have a good phone chat with him, of course about cars...BMW's! Jeremy and I got to spend some time with his dad and brother today. All the Stringer's met up for lunch and we watched some of the world cup too. Happy Father's Day to both our daddys, grandfathers, and brother in laws. We hope you all had a wonderful and  relaxing day!

Jeremy and I were in Jackson this weekend for Amanda and Booth's wedding (I'll post more about that later). We have also been in Jackson the last two weekends first for Jeremy's BIG CFA level I test on June 5th and then for Allie's bridal shower on June 12th. Jeremy's test went well but he will not know the results until sometime in July or August. The wait for the results is not fun but there is always a positive and in this case it is No Studying for a few weeks! yay! I am extremely proud of him for undertaking such a big commitment and being so dedicated to studying everyday. Everyone please continue to pray for good results and for him to be just as dedicated to study for level II next summer.

Allie's shower was very nice and she got some really great gifts! I enjoyed meeting some of her family and Aaron's family. They were in town all week and got alot of wedding details sorted out which was great. Their wedding is September 25th, we are so excited to celebrate with them! Jeremy and Aaron enjoyed watching the USA World Cup game that Saturday. I wish I had a picture of them but I had the camera at the shower.

Jeremy and I have enjoyed the last few weekends in Clinton, spending time with family and friends! Now we get to stay home and look forward to the Stringer Family Beach trip in a couple of weeks.

Well the last few weeks, I have been out of town for some of Amanda Jurey's wedding events! We threw her a bunch shower on May 22nd at Becca's house. It was really nice and she got alot of great stuff! Also that weekend was Ashley's sister Allison's wedding. I'm so glad I got to see BigAsh two weekends in a row! Whitney was my date since Jeremy was home studying for his big test. Then I was her date later in the evening to a stock the bar party for Shannon Davis (friend from high school). Whitney and I really enjoyed getting to hang out that weekend, she is the best! Too bad Boston's not in Navy or they could come live in Meridian. Pics from the weekend...

Then on Memorial Day weekend all of the girls made the trip to Chattanooga for Amanda's Bachelorette Party! We had a blast! We went to Rock City (where we got lots of good group pics), white water rafting on the Ocoee, a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, and danced at the Electric Cowboy. ha! It was so great to spend time with all of my dearest friends. I miss them alot...I honestly don't know what I'm going to do when this wedding is over because Amanda is the last one of our group getting married that means no more bachelorette parties or showers or reasons to go on trips with my girlfriends. We have talked about planning a girl trip each year, I sure hope we do because I love spending those weekend together. We make tons of fun memories!

Both weekends were fabulous! I'm ready for Friday so I can spend the weekend with all the girls again at Amanda and Booth's wedding! Yay! It is almost here!

Baby Birds

This past weekend was uneventful for the Stringer Fam. Jeremy studied for his test, which is only 16 days away! The countdown is on because I'm ready for him to be able to relax and take a couple of months off from studying. I spent the weekend reading, cleaning, and cooking. I made dinner for a couple in our Sunday school class that had a baby two weeks ago. Baby Jayson Bradley is so cute! Sorry I did not get a picture.

I do however have a few photos to share....Jeremy and I had some visitors at our house. A momma bird decided to raise her babies on our porch and we have thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow. It was hilarious too because the momma bird would get so mad when we would come out the front door. She would start chirping up a storm and the baby birds would get really still. I like to think that she was warning them of danger (although we would never hurt or touch them) and saying sit still babies. Anyway we woke up Saturday morning and all the birds were gone. They learned to fly and flew away to start their lives! What a blessing that they all five survived and get to spread their wings to go see the world.

BUSY BEES THIS SPRING

Jeremy and I have been quite busy this spring! Easter, landscaping, studying, weddings and more...

One weekend in April we landscaped the front of our house. We spent the whole Saturday digging up the old and planting all the new shrubs and flowers. A big thanks to my mom for coming to help and bringing some pretty colorful flowers to brighten up the place!

In other recent events, Adam and Christie got married! We were so happy to share in the events of their speical weekend. It was beautiful and the weather ended up turning out great in Jackson!

2nd attempt at this blogging thing...

Well I once again think that blogging would be a fun hobby. haha! Sorry it has been almost a year since I started this blog and posted on it. So here we go for the second attempt at recording the events of our lives in order to share with family and friends as well as document for our own memory.
